 Mr. Knight has 28 years of architectural experience developing projects for both public and private-sector clients. He started Knight Architects in 1996 with Lourdes Knight; for the first year he provided architectural illustrations for clients throughout the United States. In 1997 KAI won the Award for Excellence from the American Society of Architectural Perspectivists (ASAP).

In the fifteen year history of Knight Architects, Mr. Knight has led in the design of projects for private sector medical facilities, the Georgia Board of Regents, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In 2002, the firm won the prestigious US Army Corps of Engineers Architectural Excellence Award for work performed for the South Atlantic Division of the U.S. Army Corps.
